Dr. Sam Merz is a licensed naturopathic physician in Oregon. After receiving her bachelor’s from the University of Nevada, Reno in analytical chemistry and biology, she graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine.

     The human body has an innate wisdom and ability to heal itself that is often neglected in modern medicine. Dr. Sam aims to stimulate this inherent healing power and guide your body back to its natural state of balance. Every person is unique and deserves equally individualized treatments. She practices primary care for all ages with a focus in hormone support, gastrointestinal issues and mental health which includes extensive experience with ketamine integrative therapy. She is passionate about placing importance on preventative medicine through nutrition, lifestyle counseling and herbal medicine.

     Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Sam loves being in nature, doing pilates and being at home with her two sons and husband where they have a small farm with alpacas and goats.
